The Test and Deployment of Argo Profiling Float

Abstract: Argo profiling float is a newly developed oceanic observing instrument. According to its discardable feature, it is important to have rest prior to launching and deploy correctly. In order to ensure the Argo profiling float can work normally in its life circle (4-5years), and obtain the reliable observing data, this paper introduce the test of the Argo profiling float and the steps of the development from the research vessels in marine time in detail.
