How to correctly understand the Argo Program

Abstract: The term Argo is the abbreviations for Array for Real-time Geostrophic Oceanography. It is a sub-program of the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS). In setting about the Argo Project, people are usually to pay attention to equipment of the program, i.e. the automatic drifting floats for observing temperature and salinity. This paper is to analyze the relationship between the equipment and Argo Project, and put forward the reasons why our nation should join the international Argo Program.
