Abstract: The Pacific is the regime that most of the Argo data were deployed for China. It is also an important ocean for the China coastal ocean environment, weather and climate. We use the Argo profiles in the Pacific to reconstruct a 3×3 grids of monthly temperature and salinity data with an improved EOF method. The Pacific circulation is then deduced from the reconstruction fields with the P-vector method. The reconstructed temperature, salinity and circulation can reveal the seasonal variation of Pacific warm pool, equatorial currents and western boundary currents.
