Abstract: With the variable of potential conductivity ratio introduced,an Argo profiling float which has being observed in the northwestern Pacific for four years is diagnosed and analyzed.Using in-situ CTD data and a simple errors eliminating method, the salinity errors owing to conductivity sensor drift are calibrated. The calibrated results compared with that of WJO method indicate that it is more intuitionistic and convenient to calibrate the salinity errors of Argo float due to long-term observing.
