China Argo deployed two HM2000-type profilingfloats in the central South China Sea basin region using "Xiangyangghong 14" scientific expedition ship. So far, China Argo has accumulated a total of 10 domestic floats (one that did not receive any information and observations due to a communication failure) in the South China Sea, an important continental margin of the western Pacific. China has started to dominate the "Global Argo" design Construction of Argo Regional Ocean Observation Network in the South China Sea.
