March 11-12 2019, the First International BGC-Argo Science Team meeting hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED) was successfully held in Hangzhou. 19 representatives from 7 countries were invited to attend the meeting. The successful convening of this conference marked that the implementation of the global BGC-Argo ocean observation network had formally entered the fast lane after 3 years of pilot project.
