About Deep Argo

A standard Argo float only reaches a depth of 2,000 meters and provides observations between upper and mid oceans. However, we know little about the deep oceans below 2,000 meters where the warming signals also have been revealed. The deep Argo float was then developed which can go deep as much as 6,500 meters.
