At the critical moment when the Array for Real-Time Geostrophic Oceanography (Argo) consisting of 3000 floats in the world oceans will be accomplished in 2007 while the floats deployed by China Argo are deceasing and the daily work of its real-time data center faces difficulties, China Argo won great attention from the Chinese Committee of UNESCO/IOC and the Department of International Cooperation, State Oceanic Administration.  Special fund has been allocated for continuing deployment of floats in the experimental waters of China Argo and receiving, processing and distributing of Argo data.
