CARDC hosted the Argo training during the international Sat-Argo workshop
During 12-26 November 2018, the opening ceremony of International Training Workshop on Marine Satellite Remote Sensing and Argo Monitoring Technology (Sat-Argo) was successfully held in the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics , Second Institute of Oceanography (MNR) .
CARDC is responsible for the theoretical teaching, training and field practice of the Argo monitoring technology. The workshop attracted 24 foreign participants from 13 countries including Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand), Indian Ocean (India, Pakistan, Oman, Sri Lanka), Africa (Nigeria, Cameroon, Seychelles, Madagascar) and South America (Argentina, Brazil).
