23 March-22 April, 2018, China Argo Real-time Data Center deployed 4 APEX profiling floats in the western Pacific Ocean from the R/V "XIANGYANGHONG 18" . These floats are funded by the central large scientific instrument purchase special project -"Real-time ocean autonomous profiling floats observing system" implemented by State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED).

10 May-7 June, 2018, 9 floats (5 APEX floats, 4 PROVOR BGC-Argo floats) were deployed in the western Pacific Ocean from the R/V "XIANGYANGHONG 3" . These floats are also funded by the central large scientific instrument purchase special project -"Real-time ocean autonomous profiling floats observing system" .
