The Seminar on Quality Control of Biological Argo Data, organized by the State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED), was successfully held in Hangzhou from July 15 to 18, 2018. The seminar was sponsored and organized by Xing Xiaoquan, an associate researcher. More than 10 engineers and scientists from the United States, France and the United Kingdom, who are responsible for the quality control of biological profile float data, as well as more than 10 researchers from Ocean University of China, Xiamen University and Hehai University, were invited to participate in the seminar. 

The Seminar promote the cooperation between China and the United States, UK and France in the field of biological Argo data quality control technology. It will also provide important technical support for the construction of biological Argo regional observation network in the Northwest Pacific.
